Pattern Only - Belt Bag

Since creating this pattern, I am rarely seen without my belt bag - although I wear it as a cross body version. 

This Belt Bag is a great project (even for confident beginner sewists), as it contains straight lines and simple techniques. When learning to sew, the key to success is in the preparation, so I have provided tips on cutting techniques, pattern piece positioning and zip insertion. 

What you will receive:

You will need:

• Fabric - 2 x 1/4m (or fat quarters)
• Interfacing - 0.2m
• Webbing - 1.3m (1 inch wide)
• Bias binding - 0.35m (double fold)
• Thread
  
• Zip - 8in or 20cm
• 1 inch D-ring
• 1 inch tri-glide slider
• 1 inch lobster clasp
• Sewing clips or pins 
• Corner shaper/chopstick (optional)
• Sewing machine
• Iron and ironing board
  
• Fabric scissors
• Ruler
• Embroidery scissors/snips (optional)
